Shawn brings 18 years of strategic marketing, branding and entrepreneurial business building experience to Hatch. He began his career in London as Director of Sales & Marketing for a division of The Halifax running a sales team responsible for the marketing of that company’s real estate division. He then joined the ad firm Coplan Group where he rose to Managing Director and increased revenues from $2MM to $10MM in eighteen months. After moving to the U.S. in 1991 he founded Bulldog Drummond, Purveyors of Fine Ideas, and has built Bulldog into a nationally recognized firm specializing in take-to-market and brand development strategies for established global brands as well as start-ups. Companies such as IDEO, Nike, Adidas, Virgin, Clif Bar, WD40, American Eagle Outfitters, Lee Jeans, World Vision, and PepsiCo, to name a few, seek out Shawn’s particular aptitude for creating consumer experiences and articulating specific value propositions. Additionally, Shawn is a founder of Y-Malawi? and thegluenetwork.com which are organizations focused on philanthropic social action. He sits on the board of Mellace Family Brands and is an ongoing advisor to CleanWell!, two early stage companies for which he developed the brand. Shawn graduated from Askes College in London.
